Mrs. Tracy Lynn (Chandler) York, age 49, of Fairview, Indiana, formerly of Williams, Indiana, entered this life on August 10, 1963, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the daughter of Sam Chandler & Myrtle (Smith) Chandler Butler. She was raised in East Enterprise, Indiana & was a 1981 graduate of Switzerland County High School in Vevay, Indiana. Tracy was united in marriage in 1984, in Tennessee, to Ray Sandlin & to this union arrived one son to bless their home. She was later united in marriage in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Robert L. (Butch) York & he passed away in November of 2008. She was formerly employed at Fairview Grocery in Fairview, Indiana. Tracy had resided in Indianapolis, Indiana, for 5 years, in Williams, Indiana, for 10 years & in Fairview, Indiana, for the past 3 years. Tracy was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Fairview, Indiana. She enjoyed babysitting her granddaughter April & her nephew Jonah.Tracy will be remembered for her love of being a wonderful homemaker, photographer, devoted mother, grandmother, daughter & sister. Tracy died at 8:59 pm, Saturday, August 11, 2012, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Tracy will be missed by her son: Justin Sandlin & his wife: Samantha of Bear Branch, IN; her granddaughter: April Sandlin of Bear Branch, IN; her mother: Myrtle (Smith) Chandler Butler of Fairview, Indiana; her brother: Kendall Chandler & his wife: Theresa of Bennington, IN; her step-brothers: Shan Butler & his wife: Eula of Bennington, IN; Trevor Butler of Carrollton, KY; her step-sisters: LaTesa Gladden & her husband: Joe of Del City, OK; Meredith Coker & her husband: Brian of Florence, KY; her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins; her grandparents: Robert & Loretta Butler of Cincinnati, OH.
She was preceded in death her father: Sam Chandler; her step-father: Robert Charles Butler; her husband: Robert L. "Butch" York; her step-brother: Bryant W. Butler; her grandparents: John & Jenny Belle Chandler; Ike & Jalie Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at 11:00 am, by Bro. Hobert Byrd, at the Fairview Baptist Church, Fairview, Indiana 47043. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery, Nell Lee Road Fairview, Indiana.
