Mrs. Elnora M. (Scudder) Gregory, age 95, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on July 24, 1918, in Florence, Indiana the daughter of Horace R. & Cecil (Callahan) Scudder, both whom preceded her in death. Elnora grew up on Beattyl Ridge in Florence and was a 1936 graduate of Patriot High School in Patriot, Indiana and had been a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, attending there most of her younger years. On May 11, 1946, Elnora married Harry Gregory and then moved to Patriot, Indiana, where they lived for 53 years. Elnora was a devoted wife and homemaker. After the death of her husband, Elnora moved to Vevay in April of 2000, at which point she learned that she had been a descendent of Royalty. Elnora was a member of the John Paul Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Elnora will be remembered for her love of flowers, reading and gardening. Elnora died at 12:29 am, Thursday, September 12, 2013, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Elnora will be missed by her nephews: Raymond L. Scudder of Florence, IN, Maurice Scudder of Florence, IN & Barry Scudder of Florence, IN; her nieces: Karen Griffin of Madison, IN, Geraldine Bladen of Canaan, IN & Vanessa Regan of Milton, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Harry Gregory; her parents: Horace R. & Cecil (Callahan) Scudder; her son: Robert L. Ramseyer Jr.; her brother: Gerald Scudder; her nephews: Dennis Scudder & Mark A. Scudder; her niece: Rita Johnson.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 16, 2013, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Ronald Sandidge, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana
