Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing and will be out of town at the time of the services honoring her. Although I recently did get a short visit with her at Swiss Villa, the time I took my daughter to meet Ruth a few years ago stands out in my mind. Ruth was always so independent and she was showing us all the gadgets she had at home to help her stay so. Growing up and helping at my Dad's store gave me the opportunity to really know Ruth. I always admired her positive 'can do' attitude about life. She was afraid of nothing and boy was I super impressed the day she shot a snake out of a tree. I have always considered her to be a part of our family. Wishing you comfort in knowing she was a strong person and touched so many lives during of her 102 years on this Earth!
