Life Story for Mrs. Jeanette (Turner) Webber

Mrs. Jeanette (Turner)  Webber
Mrs. Jeanette (Turner) Webber, age 93, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on December 12, 1920, in Florence, Indiana, the daughter of the late, Dale Millard & Mable L. (Roberts) Turner. She was raised in Florence, Indiana, where she attended school. Jeanette was united in marriage on March 19, 1944, in Lamb, Indiana, to Thomas Robert "Bob" Webber & to this union arrived two sons, Paul Robert & James Russell & two daughters, Alice Jean & Julia Mabel to bless their home. Jeanette & Bob shared 28 years of marriage together until Bob passed away on October 14, 1972. Jeanette was a former Inspector at Randall Textron in Vevay, Indiana, retiring in 1986 after 21 years of service. She resided in the Switzerland County Community most of her life on Tapps Ridge, Popcorn Ridge, in Center Square, Indiana & in Vevay, Indiana. Jeanette was a member of the Center Square Church of Christ in Center Square, Indiana & a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #5396. Jeanette enjoyed helping on the family farm, going to the Jack Sullivan Senior Citizens Center, spending time with her grandkids & great-grandkids, reading & listening to Christian music. Jeanette died at 9:02 am, Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Jeanette will be missed by her daughters: Alice Jean Bye & her husband: Frank Micheal Bye of Madison, IN, Julia Mabel Webber of Vevay, IN; her sons: Paul Robert Webber of Vevay, IN, James Russell Webber & his wife: LaDonna (Reeves) Webber of Hanover, IN; her grandchildren: Christina Lynn (Bye) Crank & her husband: Brian Eugene Crank of Dupont, IN, Anthony Scott Bye of Chelsea, IN, Chentain Mychell Lee (Bye) Ashby & her husband: James Vernon Ashby, Jr. of Madison, IN, Darrell Robert Bye of Madison, IN & Rita Ann (Webber) Brown of Hanover, IN; her great-grandchildren: Amber Nicole Crank of Dupont, IN, Brian Austin Crank of Dupont, IN, Natalie Elizabeth Bye of Chelsea, IN, Brittany Nicole Sprong of Madison, IN, James Blake Ashby of Madison, IN, Isaac Duane Brown of Hanover, IN, Haley Ann Brown of Hanover, IN, Tyler Anthony Brown of Hanover, IN; her 11-nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Dale Millard & Mable L. (Roberts) Turner; her husband: Thomas Robert "Bob" Webber; her granddaughter: Shona L. Webber, died April 11, 1978; her great-granddaughters: Allie Bye & Kaylie Bye, died March 16, 2009; her brothers: Rolland Edward Turner, died in 1974 & James Howard Turner, died May 25, 1993; her sisters: Loretta Turner, died September 1, 2010, Marie (Turner) Hagenschneider, died December 4, 2002, Marjorie L. (Turner) Peelman, died in 2003.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 1:00 pm, by Bro. Don Truesdall, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.

Friends may call 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 7:00 pm, at the funeral home.
