Mrs. Violet J. (Fetters) Kelso, age 85, of Florence, Indiana, entered this life on May 1, 1929, in Amherst, Nebraska, the daughter of the late, Sylvester Fetters & Hazel (VanMeter) Miller. She was raised in Nebraska, where she graduated high school. Violet was united in marriage on August 18, 1946, in Smith Center, Kansas, to the late, Albert Clifton "Cliff" Kelso & to this union arrived three sons & two daughters to bless their home. Violet & Cliff shared 54 years of marriage together until Cliff passed away on April 22, 2000. Violet will be remembered for being a wonderful homemaker, crocheting, sewing, reading books & watching TV. Violet died at 8:25 pm, Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the 16690 Cook Road in Florence, Indiana.

Violet will be missed by her sons: Clifton A. Kelso & his wife: Paula of Lebanon, KY, Elgin L. Kelso of Phoenix, AZ, Wayne Kelso & his wife: Shannon of Phoenix, AZ; her daughters: Nancy Schriefer & her husband: Jerry of Florence, IN, Patricia Kalman & her husband: Paul of Florence, IN; her grandchildren: Misty, Scott, Mark, Chase, Christopher, Ashley, Jeremy, Kerrie, Erik & Brandy; her great-grandchildren: Bailey, Sabrina, MaKenzie, Alannah, Clair, Christian, Xavier, Addie & Sadie; her brother: Floyd Fetters of Loomis, NE; her nieces: Linda Paisley, Pam Jones & Mary Fetters; her nephews: Robert Fetters, Randy Fetters, Rodney Fetters, Richard Fetters & Roger Fetters.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Sylvester Fetters & Hazel (VanMeter) Miller; her loving husband of 54 years: Albert Clifton "Cliff" Kelso; her sister: Betty Brunton.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 2:00 pm, by Rev. Ron Lee, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery, East Enterprise, Indiana.
