Life Story for Mr. Jack Brown

Mr. Jack Brown, age 80, of Westport, Indiana, formerly of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on May 21, 1934, in Vevay, Indiana, the son of the late, Clarence, Sr. & Bernice (McKenzie) Brown. He was raised in Vevay, Indiana, & was a graduate of Vevay High School. Jack was united in marriage on October 25, 1952, in Madison, Indiana, to Juanita Marie McClellan & to this union arrived two daughters, Lisa & Lorie to bless their home. Jack & Juanita shared 62 years of marriage together until his death. Jack retired from the Delta Faucet Company where he worked on the Production Line, for several years. Jack was a former member of the Ruter Chapel United Methodist Church in Vevay, Indiana, where he sang in the choir & was a member of the Westport United Methodist Church in Westport, Indiana. Jack enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his adoring grandchildren, listening to music, reading Western Novels, traveling in the West, but most of all fishing was his passion. Jack died at 2:03 am, Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, Indiana.

Jack will be missed by his loving wife of 62 years: Juanita Marie (McClellan) Brown of Westport, IN; his daughters: Lisa Milligan & her husband: Ron of Westport, IN, Lorie Bierhaus & her husband: Joe of Westport, IN; his grandchildren: Eryn Sproessig, Tara Youngblood & her husband: Doug, Captain Zach Bierhaus of the United States Air Force, Chris Bierhaus & his wife: Rachel; his great-grandchildren: Austin Thackery, Ema Thackery, Aly Thackery & Hunter Sproessig; his sisters: Betty Callahan of Westport, IN, Janice Ramsey of Vevay, IN, Lolita Bolden & her husband: Skip of Tallahassee, FL; his brothers: Keith Brown & his wife: Bonnie of Seattle, WA, Darrell Brown of Dillsboro, IN; his numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence, Sr. & Bernice (McKenzie) Brown; his brothers: Charles Everett Brown, Robert L. "Bobby" Brown, Clarence Brown, Jr. & Kenneth Brown; his sisters: Virginia Burton, Mary Magness & Sandra Faye Lanham.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 14, 2014, at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Maureen Walby, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
