Mrs. Christine (Wood) Beach, age 86, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on August 22, 1928, in Vevay, Indiana, the daughter of the late, Stewart & Edith (Willis) Wood. She was raised in Vevay, Indiana, where she attended school. Christine was united in marriage on May 13, 1946, in Vevay, Indiana, to the late, James Thomas "Jim" Beach & to this union arrived three sons, James Frederick, Steve Lee & Roger Wayne & a daughter, Martha Ann to bless their home. Christine & Jim shared 66 years of marriage together until Jim passed away on October 19, 2012. Christine was a member of the Cross Plains Church of Christ in Cross Plains, Indiana. She will be remembered for her love of being a wonderful homemaker & farmer, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, working crossword puzzles & attending yard sales. Christine died at 7:26 am, Monday, October 13, 2014, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Christine will be missed by her sons: James Frederick Beach & his wife: Vickie of Nashville, IN, Steve Lee Beach & his wife: Brenda of Moorefield, IN, Roger Wayne Beach & his wife: Kim of Florence, IN; her daughter: Martha Ann Rowlison & her husband: Bruce of Madison, IN; her grandchildren, Jamie Lynn, Tonya Sue, Melissa Lee, Jonathon, Jennifer, Helen Elaine, Feather Ann, Carl & Christine; her great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Kody, Jessica, Presley Elaine, Catherine Grace, Colton James, Neela Rose, Corey, Jaxon & Addison; her brother: Donald Wood of Versailles, IN; her sisters: Norma Schoenhoeft of FL, Dorothy Marie Pettit of Osgood, IN; her sister-in-law: Betty Snow of Burlington, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Stewart & Edith (Willis) Wood; her husband: James Thomas "Jim" Beach; her sisters: Margaret Spong, Mary McGuire, Hazel Schokley & Jackie Scott; her brothers: Forrest "Bud" Wood, Roy Wood, Paul Wood & Larry Wood.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 17, 2014, at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Ronald Sandidge, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
