Life Story for Teina Maria (Felts) Garvey
Teina Maria (Felts) Garvey, age 44, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 21, 1970, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, Clyde Ray & Leona Irene "Sissy" (Godsey) Felts. She was raised in Big Bone, Kentucky where she attended Conner High School. Teina was employed in Housekeeping at the Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana, for 5 years & was employed at the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana, for 3 years. Teina enjoyed reading Stephen King & Dean Koontz books, collecting marbles, but most of all spending time with her kids & her grandkids. Teina died at 5:41 am, Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.
Teina will be missed by her son: Justin Felts & his wife: Jenna of Patriot, IN; her daughters: Brittany Felts of Vevay, IN, Jasmine Leigh Garvey of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren: Hayden Nathaniel & Jaleigh Lynn; her sisters: Irene Schrand of Fort Wright, KY, Darlene Terry of Dillsboro, IN, Lois Cutshaw of Newport, TN; her brothers: Bob Lanham of Florence, KY, Jim Lanham of Latonia, KY, Ray Felts of Mt. Orab, OH; her numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde Ray & Leona Irene "Sissy: (Godsey) Felts; her sister: Carol Lanham.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 23, 2014, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
Friends may call 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
