Life Story for Mr. Darren Lee Rose

Mr. Darren Lee Rose, age 50, of Vevay, Indiana, formerly of Patriot, Indiana, entered this life on April 29, 1964, in Madison, Indiana, the miracle son of, Floyd Ernest & Jean (Scudder) Rose. He was raised in Patriot, Indiana & was a 1984 graduate of Madison Diagnostic Training Center in Madison, Indiana. Darren resided in the Patriot Community, until he moved to the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana, where he was lovingly cared for the past 13 years. He attended the Patriot Baptist Church in Patriot, Indiana. Darren will be remembered for his love of sunglasses, cars, hot wheels, reading the Sunday newspaper & collecting hats. Darren will be missed by his loving family, friends & his caregivers at the Swiss Villa Nursing Home. Darren died at 1:06 am, Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Darren will be missed by his loving mother: Jean (Scudder) Rose of Vevay, IN; his loving brothers: Dennis Rose of Vevay, IN, Danny Ray Rose of Patriot, IN, Dale Rose & his wife: Ruth of Patriot, IN, Dean Rose & his wife: Sheila of Lawrenceburg, IN; his nieces & nephews: Jaimie Rose, Danielle Rose, Jenna Felts, Dale Rose, Jr., Nick Knaus & Jordan Knaus; his great-nieces & nephews: Jaleigh Felts, Brody Carfield, Ava Knaus & Jake Knaus; his great-aunt: Mareta Rose of East Enterprise, IN & his several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: Floyd Ernest Rose; his paternal grandparents: Sam & Bessie (Gurley) Rose; his maternal grandparents: Brett & Helen (Eichler) Scudder; his uncle: Raymond Scudder.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 21, 2014, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery, Patriot, Indiana.
