Life Story for Mr. Robert Christopher "Roy" Vollat

Mr. Robert Christopher "Roy" Vollat, age 30 of Bennington, Indiana, entered this life on September 5, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the loving son of, Robert Gary Vollat and Jennie Lou Pridemore. Robert was raised in Cleves, Ohio, where he attended the Taylor High School. He was formerly employed with Ryland Homes and Fox Fire Framing in Ohio. He had resided in the Switzerland County community since 2004. Robert was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Fairview, Indiana. Robert will be remembered for his love of woodworking, fishing, hunting, helping other people and spending time with his family. Robert died at 8:12 pm, Thursday, December 11, 2014, at his residence in Bennington, Indiana.

Robert will be missed by his mother: Jennie Lou Pridemore of Bennington, IN; his daughter: Annabelle Vollat of Moores Hill, IN; his brother: Josh Lovins & his fiancé: Janet Charlton of Vevay, IN; his sister: Angela Lovins-Miller & her husband: Todd of Cross Plains, IN; his nephews: David & Cheyne Mergy of Cross Plains, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Gary Vollat & his brother: Jonathan Lovins.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 11:00 am, by Bro. Hobert Byrd, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana.

Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery in Bennington, Indiana.

Friends may call 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana.
