Mrs. Nora B. (Riley) Gross, age 78, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 1, 1937, in Ghent, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, Dallas & Alice (Anders) Riley. She was raised in Rising Sun, Indiana, where she attended school. Nora was united in marriage on June 21, 1955, in Rising Sun, Indiana, to the late, Alvin William Gross & to this union arrived a daughter, Cathy & a son, Randy to bless their home. Nora & Alvin shared nearly 51 years of marriage together until his death on April 2, 2006. She was a member of the River Point Nazarene Church in Vevay, Indiana & resided in the Vevay community since 1965. Nora enjoyed babysitting in her home for 33 years & especially her dogs. Nora died at 2:46 am, Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Nora will be missed by her daughter: Cathy DeBaun of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren: Daniel DeBaun & his wife: Jennifer of Shelbyville, IN & John DeBaun of Carrollton, KY; her great-grandchildren: Daniel Jr., Robert, Mary, Isabella & Bristol & her sisters: Alice (Riley) Downey of English, KY & Dora (Riley) Ward of Campbellsburg, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Dallas & Alice (Anders) Riley; her husband: Alvin William Gross, died April 2, 2006; her son: Randy Gross; her brothers: Raymond & Matt Riley.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 27, 2015, at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Adam Griffin, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
