Mr. Larry Joe Mundy, age 70, of Vevay, Indiana, formerly of Anderson, Indiana, entered this life on April 2, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana, the son of the late, Roy E. and Louise (Head) Mundy. He was raised in Anderson, Indiana where he was a 1964 graduate of Anderson High School. Larry was united in marriage on May 19, 1984, in Pendleton, Indiana to Janet (Pickett) Burnell. Larry and Janet shared 32 years of marriage together until his death. Larry was employed for General Motors in Anderson, Indiana, retiring in 1995 after 30 years of service. He later moved from Pendleton, Indiana to Switzerland County, Indiana where he and Janet resided for the past 21 years. Larry enjoyed fishing, camping, strumming his guitar, sitting on his cabin front porch, writing songs and poems and spending time with his family. Larry passed away at 6:00 am, Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at his residence in Vevay, Indiana.
Larry will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 32 years: Janet (Pickett) Burnell Mundy of Vevay, IN; his daughter: Brandy Reutebuch and her husband: Jerry of Noblesville, IN; his step-daughter: Sally Ellis and her husband: Scott of Monrovia, IN; his step-sons: Greg Burnell of Vevay, IN, Matt Burnell and his wife: Stacey of Frankton, IN and Bob Lawson of TX; his grandchildren: Mick Rector, Molly Rector, Miles Reutebuch, Marley Reutebuch, Zygi Reutebuch, Amber Walton and her husband: Carlos, Eli Henson, Reed Burnell, Sam Burnell, Libby Burnell, Daniele Burnell, Matthew Burnell and Robert Burnell; his sister: Naomi Moore of Anderson, IN; his brothers: Ron Mundy and his wife: Judy of Anderson, IN and Dave Mundy and his companion: Kay McKissick of Anderson, IN; his uncle: James Mundy of Arlington, OR; his brother-in-law: John Pickett and his wife: Ann of West Lafayette, IN and his nieces, nephews, friends and special cousins: Connie Terrell and her husband: Ted of Mitchell, IN and Jerry Bell of Mitchell, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy E. and Louise (Head) Mundy; his sons: Larry Mundy, Jr., died in 1968 and James Mundy, died in 1981; his grandchildren: Emma Burnell, died April 5, 1997 and Aaron Burnell, died March 10, 2006; his sister: Shirley Mezick and his brother: Roy L. Mundy.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 16, 2016, at 1:00 pm, by Pastor Daniel Mundy, at the Loose Funeral Home, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013.

Interment will follow in the Spencer Cemetery, Sheridan, Indiana.
