Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Liz" (Ashbrook) Davidson, age 61, of Pleasant, Indiana, entered this life on October 12, 1954, in Somerset, Kentucky. the daughter of, Owen Lee and Alene (Wright) Ashbrook. She was raised in Mt. Orab, Ohio where she attended Western Brown High School. Liz was inducted into the United States Army in July 1969. Liz was honorably discharged with the rank of Private First Class on March 31, 1976. Liz was united in marriage on May 24, 1974, in Kentucky to Clarence Earl Davidson. Liz and Clarence shared 42 years of marriage together until her death. Liz was a former CNA for Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana, for 4 years. She was also employed as a cook for Granny's Restaurant in Vevay, Indiana, for 10 years. Liz resided in the Switzerland County community since 1987. Liz will be remembered for her love of scrapbooking and crocheting. Liz will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Liz passed away at 5:36 am, Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at her residence in Pleasant, Indiana.

Orab, OH and Rhonda Davidson of Pleasant, IN; her sons: Larry Luttrell and his wife: Rebecca of Mt. Orab, OH, Clarence Lee Davidson and his wife: Kimberly of East Enterprise, IN and Thomas Davidson and his companion: Amie McEntire of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren: Eddie, Drew, Khloe, Athena, Jasmine, Aurora, Jaxson, Jade, David and Jasper; her father: Owen Lee Ashbrook of Mt. Orab, OH; her sisters: Linda Beckelheimer of Mt. Orab, OH, Della Smith of Mt. Orab, OH, Gwen Zimmer of Dayton, OH, Anna Peters of Somerset, KY, Ellen Gentry of Mt. Orab, OH and Becky Werling of Glendale, OH; her brother: Clay Ashbrook of Mt. Orab, OH and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Mary Alene (Wright) Ashbrook.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 22, 2016, at 11:00 am, by Pastor Patrick Lanman, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Madison, Indiana.
