Mrs. Linda Carol (Peelman) Peters, age 71, of Florence, Indiana, entered this life on June 26, 1945, in Switzerland County, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Frank Edward and Mary Naomi (Fulton) Peelman. She was raised in Switzerland County where she attended the Vevay High School. Linda was united in marriage on July 24, 1967, in Vevay, Indiana, to Bobby Joe Peters and to this union arrived a son, Robert Wayne and a daughter Cheryl Lynn to bless their home. Linda and Bobby Joe shared 49 loving years of marriage together until her death. Linda was employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana, for 40 years. She was later employed in housekeeping for the Ogle Haus Inn in Vevay, Indiana, for five years. Linda was also employed in housekeeping for Belterra Casino & Resort in Belterra, Indiana, for 7 years. Linda resided in the Switzerland County community all of her life. She was raised in the Vevay Church of Christ in Vevay, Indiana. Linda enjoyed cooking, housekeeping, collecting porcelain dolls and spending time with her family. Linda passed away with her loving family by her side at 1:45 pm, Saturday, September 17, 2016, at her residence in Florence, Indiana.

Linda will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 49 years: Bobby Joe Peters of Florence, IN; her son: Robert Wayne Peters of Hanover, IN; her son-in-law: Harold Wayne Cunningham of Florence, IN; her grandchildren: Dustin. Logan, Chelsey and Tesla; her great-granddaughters: Chandale and Paige; her sisters: Shirley Marsh of Lawrenceburg, IN and Mary Downing of Vevay, IN; her brothers: Gordon Peelman of Lawrenceburg, IN and Ronnie Peelman of Columbia, SC and her several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank Edward "E.P." and Mary Naomi (Fulton) Peelman; her daughter: Cheryl Lynn Cunningham, died July 16, 2011; her sisters: Virginia Peelman, Betty Tomlison and Roberta Kearney; her brothers: Eugene Peelman, Robert "Bobby" Peelman and Charles "Chuck" Peelman.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 11:00 am, by Bro. Hobert Byrd, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
