Mrs. Mildred Marie "Mickey" (Craig) Whitham, age 87, of East Enterprise, Indiana, entered this life on March 20, 1929, in Dearborn County, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Lloyd Edward and Catherine Elizabeth "Lillie" (Ahaus) Craig. She was raised in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, where she attended the St. Lawrence Catholic School. Mildred was united in marriage on November 20, 1948, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to William Milburn Whitham and to this union arrived nine children, Donald, Dennis, Michael, Robert, James, Kevin, Karen, Steven and Barbara to bless their home. Mickey and William shared 35 years of marriage together until William passed away on January 27, 1984. She was employed for Seagram's Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, for several years. Mickey resided in the Switzerland County community since 1958. She was a member of Our Most Sorrowful Mother of God Catholic Church in Vevay, Indiana. Mickey was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed raising her family, reading, crocheting, fishing, bowling, playing poker and keeping a meticulous lawn. Mickey passed away at 6:03 am, Monday, February 27, 2017, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Mickey will be dearly missed by her sons: Michael Whitham of Rising Sun, IN, Robert Whitham and his companion: Hazel of East Enterprise, IN, Kevin Whitham and his companion: Winnie of East Enterprise, IN and Steven Whitham and his wife: Sherri of Florence, IN; her daughter: Karen Morton and her husband: Donny of Pleasant, IN; her daughter-in-law: Jane Whitham of Cincinnati, OH; her son-in-law: Harold "Joe" Covington of East Enterprise, IN; her grandchildren: Chris, Craig, Aaron, Stacey, Renee, Kendra, Tony, Bob, Christy, David, Chelsea, Blake, Rachel, Kyle, MacKenzie, Mason and Myles; her great-grandchildren: Zoe, Asher, Cooper, Trenton, Gage, Wade, Grant, Tristan, Victoria, Daniel, Enya and Keegan and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lloyd Edward and Catherine Elizabeth "Lillie" (Ahaus) Craig; her husband: William Milburn Whitham, died January 27, 1984; her sons: Donald Eugene, Dennis Ray and James Whitham; her daughter: Barbara Jane "Barb" (Whitham) Covington; her sisters: Ruth Browning and Freda Childers; two-infant sisters; her brothers: Thomas and Lloyd Craig and her infant brother.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 3, 2017, at 10:00 am, by Father Christopher Craig at the Most Sorrowful Mother of God Catholic Church, 513 North Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery, East Enterprise, Indiana.

Friends may call 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2017, by Father Christopher Craig, at the funeral home.
