Mrs. Lucille Evelyn (Smith) Weales, age 102, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on September 28, 1914, in Jefferson County, Indiana, the youngest of five children born to, Clarence Hubert and Maude (Stewart) Smith, whom preceded her in death. She was raised behind the Brushy Fork Baptist Church in Pleasant, Indiana and attended the Fry Grade School just below Pleasant, Indiana. Lucille was a 1932 graduate of the Central High School and attended the St. Mary's College of Business in Madison, Indiana. Lucille met the love of her life, Dale Sullivan Weales through Dale's brother, Clyde. Lucille and Dale were united in marriage on September 29, 1937 by the Rev. E.C. Kolten Bah at his residence in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and to this union arrived two sons, Rick and Bob and a daughter, Janie to bless their home. Lucille and Dale shared 45 years of marriage together until Dale passed away on February 12, 1982. Lucille enjoyed farming the family farm and was a wonderful homemaker. Lucille was a member of the Riverview Homemaker's Club in Vevay, Indiana. Lucille held membership since the age of 12 at the Brushy Fork Baptist Church in Pleasant, Indiana, where she was the oldest and longest faithful member. She enjoyed quilting, collecting antiques, working crossword puzzles and reading. Lucille will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Lucille passed away at 8:51 pm, Monday, June 19, 2017, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Lucille will be dearly missed by her sons: Rick Weales and his wife: Cheri of Vevay, IN and Bob Weales and his wife: Karen of Columbus, IN; her daughter: Janie Fairall of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren: Jeff Weales and his wife: Sally, Lisa Mabrey, Jennifer Bostic and her husband: Noel, Barbara Coy and her husband: David, Christopher Fairall and his wife: Emily, Angie Rea; her great-grandchildren: Calvin Weales, Sydney Bostic, Ali Bostic, Bailee Bostic, Crosby Weales, Ashley Antonelli, Brittany Fairall, Bradley Black, Courtney Fairall, Todd Black, Jordan Fairall, Joseph Coy, Sierra Mabrey, Ethan Coy, Michael Fairall and Shelby Mounce; her great-great-grandchildren: Jordan Fairall, Jr., Derrick Muller, Jr., Gavin Mounce, Grayson Mounce and Wyland Mounce and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence Hubert and Maude (Stewart) Smith; her husband: Dale Sullivan Weales, died February 12, 1982; her great-granddaughter: Nevaeh Grayce Weales; her sisters: Marjorie Scott, Agnes Schmunk and Kay Quitman and her brother: Clair Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 1:00 pm, by Pastor Chris Clemans at the Brushy Fork Baptist Church, 12840 Brushy Fork Church Road, Canaan, Indiana 47224.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Cemetery, Pleasant, Indiana.
