Mrs. Anna Rozella (Emery) Bailey, age 83, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on November 15, 1933, in Patriot, Indiana, the oldest of all the siblings born to the late, Thomas Charles and Dixie (Macantosh) Emery. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana where she was a 1952 graduate of the Patriot High School. Anna was united in marriage on September 13, 1952, in Greensburg, Indiana, to the late, Paul Denver Bailey, Sr. and to this union arrived two daughters, Pamela and Paula and a son, Paul Jr. to bless their home. Anna was a former bottom stitcher and repair for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana, from 1968 to 1995. She was a lifetime member of the Vevay VFW Post #5396 Ladies Auxiliary. Anna was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Anna will be remembered for her love of gardening, reading, crocheting, cooking, canning, watching The Voice, cowboy shows, listening to country music and her love of her dogs. Anna passed away at 7:20 pm, Saturday, August 5, 2017, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Anna will be dearly missed by her daughters: Pamela Wainscott of Vevay, IN and Paula Carrico and her husband: Jeff of Rising Sun, IN; her son: Paul Bailey, Jr. and his wife: Vicky of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren: Joey Wainscott, Christopher Wainscott, Angela Swanson and her husband: Darrin, Steve Black, Joseph Waller, Rhonda Partin and her husband: Chris, and Christina Waggoner and her husband: David; her great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Julifs, Krislyn Fortney, Julian Hart, Alexandria Rickerson, Abby Wainscott, Allyson Wainscott, Delanie Swanson, Kamden Earls, Maizen Wainscott, Dalton Waggoner, Owen Waggoner, Bailey Castle and Rosemary Partin; her great-great-grandson: Liam Ballard and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Charles and Dixie (Macantosh) Emery; her husband: Paul Denver Bailey, Sr., died June 26, 1989; her son-in-law: Jerry Lee Wainscott, died May 22, 2001; her grandchildren: Ryan Black, died July 20, 1994 and Amy Waller, died June 19, 1985; her sisters: Myrtle "Mickey" Morris, Ida Elizabeth "Sugie" Emery, Shirley "Kay" Sullivan and Imogene Emery and her brothers: Thomas "Buddy", John, James, Charles Wayne and Billy Emery.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at 1:00 pm, by Rev. Mike Jones and Pastor Keith Morris, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Madison, Indiana.
