Life Story for Joe Thomas "Tom" Bilbrey Jr.

Joe Thomas "Tom"  Bilbrey Jr.
Mr. Joe Thomas "Tom" Bilbrey, Jr., age 75, of Lancaster, Kentucky, entered this life on June 27, 1942, in Wilder, Tennessee, the son of the late, J.T. Sr. and Pauline (Demonbreun) Bilbrey. He was raised in Jamestown, Kentucky and was a 1960 graduate of the North Hampton High School in Springfield, Ohio. Tom was united in marriage on October 14, 1961, at a Methodist church in Urbana, Ohio, to the late, Ann Lynn Dibble and to this union arrived a son, Scott and two daughters, Tara and Michelle to bless their home. Tom and Ann shared nearly 44 years of marriage together until Ann passed away on May 4, 2005. Tom was employed as a machinist for SPECO in Springfield, Ohio, General Electric in Cincinnati, Ohio and for Rockwell International in Winchester, Kentucky. Tom retired from Panasonic in Troy, Ohio in 2003. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 20 F&AM in Winchester, Kentucky. Tom enjoyed his horse farm in Lancaster, Kentucky, tinkering on cars, collecting cars and 50's memorabilia. He will be remembered for his love of his horses and his dog, Celie. Tom passed away at 7:20 am, Monday, August 7, 2017, at his residence in Lancaster, Kentucky

Tom will be dearly missed by his son, Scott Bilbrey of Lancaster, KY; his daughters, Tara Spach and her husband: Ken of Georgetown, KY and Michelle Bilbrey of Lancaster, KY; his grandchildren, Nicole, Leslie, Phillip, Wade, Elizabeth and Kenny and his great-granddaughter, Layla Grace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. Sr. and Pauline (Demonbreun) Bilbrey and his wife, Ann Lynn (Dibble) Bilbrey, died May 4, 2005.

Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 1:00 pm, by Allan Bear at the Vevay Cemetery, 800 East Main Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Private Family Visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kentucky Equine Humane Center in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Cards are available at the funeral home.
