Mrs. Donna Sue (Scholl) Miller, age 70, of Patriot, Indiana, entered this life on March 31, 1947, in Madison, Indiana, the loving daughter of, John Robert, Sr. and Juanita "Dutchie" (Furnish) Scholl. She was raised in Madison, Indiana where she was a 1965 graduate of the Madison Consolidated High School. Donna received her Associates Degree in accounting from Ivy Tech in Madison, Indiana. Donna was united in marriage in August 1967, to Michael R. Johns and unto this union arrived a daughter, Lisa Kay Johns. She was later united in marriage on June 6, 1982, in Madison, Indiana, to Donald Miller. She was employed for Conn Organ, the auditor's office in the Jefferson County Courthouse, and for Bechtel, which she retired in 1997. Donna was a member of the Vevay VFW Post #5396 Ladies Auxiliary and the Vevay American Legion Post #185 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Fredonia Baptist Church in Switzerland County, Indiana. Donna was a wonderful homemaker and cook, enjoyed playing Bunco, and monthly cards with her aunts and her cousins, Janey Peelman, Karen Taylor, Patricia Morgan, and Linda Bond. Donna passed away at 9:15 am, Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at her residence in Patriot, Indiana.

Donna will be deeply missed by her husband, Donald "Don" Miller of Patriot, IN; her mother, Juanita "Dutchie" (Furnish) Scholl of Madison, IN; her daughters, Lisa Kay (Johns) Asher and her husband: Rowland of Vevay, IN, Denise Combs of San Antonio, TX, Diana Ripplinger and her husband: Clyde of Fargo, ND and Debbie King and her husband: Jeffrey of Pensacola, FL; her sons, Donald Miller of Denver, Colorado, Daryl Miller of Panama City, FL and Dwayne Miller of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Asher, Miller King, Dustin Miller, John David Selfridge, Graham Miller, Madison Miller; her sister, Sherry Young and her husband: Frank of Bedford, KY; her brothers, Michael Scholl of Madison, IN and Patrick Scholl and his wife: Janene of Madison, IN; her in-laws, Mike Miller and his wife: Diana of Dallas, TX, Mabel Swarm and her husband: Andy of Bellefonte, PA, Steve Johns and his wife: Tammy of Rising Sun, IN, Brenda Rayles and her husband: Don of Vevay, IN and her several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Robert Scholl, Sr.; her brother, John R. Scholl, Jr. and her grandparents, John W. Scholl, John L. and Edna Mason, Charles and Alma Furnish and Leola Furnish.

Friends may call 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, August 11, 2017, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Auxiliary Services will be conducted at 7:30 pm, Friday, August 11, 2017 at the funeral home by the Vevay American Legion Post #185 Ladies Auxiliary and the Vevay VFW Post #5396 Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Wayne Daugherty at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Fredonia Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fredonia Baptist Church or Dearborn County Home, Health, and Hospice. Cards are available at the funeral home.
