Life Story for Debbie Sue Foster Henson (Romans)

Debbie Sue Foster Henson (Romans)
Debbie Sue (Romans) Foster Henson, age 60, of Vevay, Indiana, left her life on this earth at 9:03 a.m.,Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at her residence in Vevay, Indiana. Debbie was born April 30, 1957, in Milan, Indiana, the daughter of the late, Dale Romans. She was a 1975 graduate of the Vevay High School. She had a passion for art, quilting, landscaping, re-purposing furniture, and making grape vine trees. She was a 4-H leader for the Switzerland County Sidewinders. She loved everything about life and above all, she loved her children and her grandchildren, whom she called her precious treasurers. She always told her grandchildren, that when she was gone, when they felt the sun on their face, that was her giving them a kiss, and when they felt the wind, that was her giving them a hug. The love of her life, who had always held her heart was Claud Henson. She always said he was her other half and he was always in her heart. She wanted her children, grandchildren, and Claud to know, she would love them with her last breath and would be with them always in their hearts and souls. In her younger days, Nelda McKay (Mama Nelda) of Brooksville, Florida, formerly of Vevay, Indiana, had a great influence on Debbie's life and she loved her so much. Later in life, Mary Jewell became a mother to her and Debbie loved her with all her heart. Claud's family has always been a blessing to her and has always held a special place in her heart. Debbie had always supported organ donation, having given her son a 2nd chance at life in 1992 by giving him one of her kidneys. Debbie had always believed life was the one thing you never take for granted and she lived it to the fullest. Every day was a gift to her. She had collected memories and left them behind for her children and grandchildren and Claud and to the rest of her family and friends. Debbie will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.
