Suzann Carol "Susie" Butters, age 46, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on September 16, 1971, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the daughter of, Leslie Lee and Lois June (Harmon) Butters. She was raised in Aurora, Indiana where she attended high school. Susie resided in the Osgood community for four years, Indianapolis community for several years and the past two years in the Vevay community. Susie was a member and was baptized at the North Madison Baptist Church in Madison, Indiana. She was a wonderful homemaker and loving mother and enjoyed gardening, especially her roses, playing Yahtzee and working puzzles. Susie will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Susie passed away at 1:35 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the King's Daughter's Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Susie is survived by her daughters, Deanna Hankins and Meagan Leigh Hankins all of Vevay, IN; her son, Christopher Allen Hankins of Osgood, IN; her grandchildren, Adyson Hatton, Raegan Hatton, Aiden Pike, Ameila Hankins and Lillian Hankins; her mother, Lois June (Harmon) Butters of Vevay, IN; her sister, Denise Faye Sweet and her husband: Daniel Robert of Catoosa, OK; her brothers, Richard Lee Butters of Huntsville, AL, Terry Scott Butters of Elkhart, IN and Thomas Andrew Butters and his wife: Linda of Plant City, FL; her nephews, Joves Sweet of Talsa, OK, Daniel Sweet of Moore, OK, William "Adam" Sweet of Owasso, OK and Brian Lee Butters of FL and her niece, Katherine Butters of NC.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Lee Butters.
