Mr. Dealious "Dee" Young, age 78, of Milan, Indiana, formerly of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on October 28, 1940, in Hyden, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late, John Mitchell and Rhoda (Wilson) Young. Dee was inducted into the United State Air Force and was honorably discharged. Dee was united in marriage on December 7, 1957, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to Betty Lou Godsey. This happy union was blessed with four children, Rhoda, Sherman, Dealious, and Dana. Dee and Betty shared nearly 61 years of marriage together until his death. Dee was employed in 1979 as a fireman for the Jefferson Proving Ground in Madison, Indiana, retiring in 1989, after 10 years of service. He owned and operated Young & Sons Lumber Mill in Versailles, Indiana and later Cross Plains, Indiana, from 1989 to September 2002. Dee resided in the Vevay community from 1964 - 2016 and later moved to Milan, Indiana, where he resided until his passing. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Aurora, Indiana. Dee enjoyed hunting, fishing, working, watching Gunsmoke on TV, and listening to country music. Dee passed away at 9:45 a.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018, at his residence in Milan, Indiana.

Dee will be deeply missed by his wife of nearly 61 years, Betty Lou (Godsey) Young of Milan, IN; his children, Rhoda Roxanne Hartig, Sherman Mitchell Young, Dealious Young, Jr. and Dana Rochelle Stevens all of Milan, IN; his grandchildren, Shannon McKane, Natasha Bushorn, Benny Hartig, Jr., and Marc Stevens; his great-grandchildren, Victoria, Jayda, Graesyn, Benny III., Kaiden, Camden, Haisley and Hudson; his sisters, Nora Vaughn and Delphia Hooten all of Independence, KY and his several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Mitchell and Rhoda (Wilson) Young; his great-granddaughter, Emmalyn Bushorn; his sisters, Ethal Osborn and his brothers, Oscar, Manuel, Enoch, Rosco, Virgil and Alonzo Young.
