Mary Grace Barlage, age 67, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on February 4, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late, Charles Waters and Bernice (Barlage) Brown. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended Hughes High School. Mary was united in marriage to Hurdis Rose and spent several years of companionship with Robert "Bob" Springer and they were blessed with a daughter, Michelle. Mary was employed as a technician for a nursing home in Blue Ash, Ohio and for the Harrison House in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a former member of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 and the Vevay VFW Post #5396. Mary enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. Mary passed away at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at the Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana.

Mary will be missed by her daughter, Michelle Springer and her companion, Bubby Lewis of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Nick Smallwood and Blake Green; her brothers, David Barlage, Robert Roberts and Daniel Roberts all of Cincinnati, OH and her several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Waters and Bernice (Barlage) Brown; her grandparents that raised her, Elmer and Grace Bice and her sister, Sharon K. McCulley.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
