I (Susie) met Bev years ago at a UMC retreat and was instantly impressed with what a lovely and gracious woman she was...sure enough, in God's perfect plan, she became your wife. Condolence: My third grade teacher, who undoubtedly was the most influential educator ever to come into my life. Mrs. Hall (as I will forever remember her) taught me the joy of reading and learning and it has served me well throughout my educational and professional journey. An incredible human being who has left a legacy of the joy of learning to countless individuals. A dear friend to my departed mother and my father as well, who shared many laughs with mom and then helped our family through mom's cancer battle and death. It can seem trite to say that you will never forget someone, but in this case it couldn't be more true. I will remember you always and carry the lessons you taught me all the way back in third grade close to my heart.

Condolence: Aunt Bev and Uncle Bill were the youngest of my aunts and Uncles and I have a lot of fond memories of Bev, she thought me to drive a straight stick car when I was about 12 (1952). I remember Uncle Bill arriving home from WWII when I was 5 years old since I lived with my Grandparents (His folks). RIP, I know you are with Jesus.

Condolence: Mrs. Parrott ("Mrs. Hall" to me) was my fourth grade teacher. I'll always remember the books she read to the class right after lunch. They were all Newberry award winners and I still remember most of them to this day. Such an influence.

Condolence: To Roger and Family,

Our prayers and sympathy to all. After reading the obituary, it brought home to me the amazing Christian life led by Bev. I could not have put it better, that Bev "had a profound effect on so many people," as she was able to "touch hearts and inspire us to be the best they could be." She certainly did for us. May God bless you all at this difficult time.

Condolence: We will all miss this wonderful, gracious lady, Bev. She and I worked on so many projects together--grants, CTA, and school plus we enjoyed many personal activities. She loved her family! What a legacy she leaves! The Lord says, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" Love and prayers to the family.
