Mrs. Alma Alice (Burnett) Nally, age 97, of Parrish, Florida, formerly of Vevay, Indiana passed away at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in Parrish, Florida. Alma entered this life on April 7, 1924 in Henry County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late, Marshall J. and Myrtle (Stivers) Burnett and was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana where she attended school. Alma was united in marriage to Gilbert Hankins in 1943 and was later united in marriage to Robert "Lee" Nally on July 17, 1970. Alma and Lee shared nearly 27 years of marriage together until he passed away on May 6, 1997. Alma was employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana for 30 years. She was also employed for Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana for five years. Alma was a member of the Long Run Baptist Church near Moorefield, Indiana. She resided in the Florida community for the past 23 years. Alma enjoyed spending her days with family and friends, going to church, entertaining guests, and cooking the world's best homemade fried chicken among other specialties. She served as a wise counsel for her entire family tree.

Alma will be missed by her daughter, Darlene Cohan of Dandridge, TN; her granddaughters, Dana Cairnie of Parrish, FL and Deanna Scull of Monroeville, NJ; her great-grandchildren, Jeremy Liter, Brooke and Breanne Cairnie, Victoria, Trey, Brandon and Ross Scull; her great-great-grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Ryan, Libby, Madison, Mariah, Amiyah, and Kenzie Liter, Madden Camejo and Brilynn Stephens; her step-children, Raymond Nally of Cincinnati, OH, Judi Henderson of Cincinatti, OH and Robert Nally of Cincinatti, OH; her step-grandchildren, Kim Renzenbrink, Kyle and Kory Scudder, Stephanie Griffin, Sherrie Henderson, Lyndsy Tomes and Jennifer Nally ; her step-great-grandchildren, Albee, Kailer and Bryce Renzenbrink, McKenzie and Megan Scudder, Bellamy and Bodee Scudder, Chelsee Smith, Zack and Kaiden Griffin, Haly, Cooper & Mallory Henderson, Elliot and Simon Nally, Leora and Ophelia Tomes; her step-great-great-grandchild, Conrad Smith and her sister, Mary Gladys Peelman of Freeburg, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall J. and Myrtle (Stivers) Burnett; her husband, Robert "Lee" Nally; her sisters, Alleene Flood and Norma Jean Knox and her brothers, Albert Earl Burnett and Raymond Burnett.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
