Obituary for Brenda Kay Parham (Adkins)
Mrs. Brenda Kay (Adkins) Parham, age 70, of Florence, Indiana, entered this life on October 20, 1950 in Oak Hill, West Virginia. She was the loving daughter of the late, Roy Adkins and Elzada J. "Al" (Seward) Tackett. Brenda was raised in Detroit, Michigan where she attended school. Brenda was united in marriage on October 19, 1966 in Ashville, North Carolina to the late Joseph Mark "Joe" Parham. This happy union was blessed with two daughters, Tracy and Shelly and three sons, Joe, Scott and Daniel. Brenda and Joe shared nearly 35 years of marriage together until Joe passed away on August 14, 2001. She resided in the Switzerland County community since 1987. Brenda was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed watching television, macramé, crocheting, knitting and crafts. Brenda passed away at 7:21 p.m., Sunday, December 20, 2020, at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, Kentucky.
Brenda will be missed by her daughters, Tracy Redwine and her husband, James of Holton, IN and Shelly Anne Johnson and her husband, Phillip of Vevay, IN; her sons, Joseph Mark Parham, II. and his wife, Crystal of Vevay, IN, Scott Lee Parham and his wife, Ginny of Toledo, OH and Daniel Wayne Parham and his wife, Sandra of Toledo, OH; her grandchildren, Michael Grimm, Randy Johnson and his husband, Jacob Steele Johnson, Rachel Redwine, Amber Dunlop and her husband, Dustin, Lensi Parham, Joel Parham, Mercedes Parham, Shantell Johnson, Bridge Parham and Jacob Parham and her great-grandchildren, Kennedy Johnson and Ruby Watterson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Adkins; her mother, Elzada J. "Al" (Seward) Tackett and her step-father, Raymond Ray Tackett.

Interment will follow in the Florence Cemetery in Florence, Indiana.
