Mr. Christopher Robert "Chris" Johnson, age 53, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on November 24, 1966 in Richmond, Indiana. He was the son of the late Robert G. Johnson and Betty C. (Davis) Johnson Adams. He was raised in Vevay, Indiana and was a 1986 graduate of the Switzerland County High School and attended the University of Kentucky for three years. Chris was employed as a line worker for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana for nine years. Chris was also a construction worker and painted with his father for 12 years. He was employed for Plastic Molding Factory in East Enterprise, Indiana from 1989 - 1990. Chris was a member of the Switzerland County Community Church in Vevay, Indiana and was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing. Chris passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Chris is survived by his half-sister, Carole Easley; his nephew and niece, Tony Boyer and Sonya Watson; his several great-nieces and great-nephews; his aunts and uncles, Roy and Diane Davis of Hanover, IN, Janice Peelman of Commiskey, IN and Nancy Paugh of Columbus, IN and his best friend, Julie Darbro of Vevay, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert G. Johnson, died January 4, 1989 and Betty C. (Davis) Johnson Adams, died March 19, 2005; his half-sister, Debra Lynn (Boyer) Beatty, died May 5, 2018 and his niece, Shante Morales, died December 13, 2017.

Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2020, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2020, by Pastor Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
