Obituary for David Anthony Jones
Mr. David Anthony Jones, age 48, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on August 7, 1972, in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late Harvey S. "Coke" Jones and Susan Marie "Sue" (Evans) Schreiner. He was raised in Madison, Indiana, and was a 1990 graduate of the Madison Consolidated High School. After graduating high school, David moved to Switzerland County, Indiana, where he resided until his death. David was a bartender at the Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana. He enjoyed radio controlled cars, flying drones and fishing. David passed away at 10:52 p.m., Thursday, May 13, 2021, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
David will be missed by his mother and step-father, Susan Marie "Sue" (Evans) Schreiner and Lutz "Bo" Schreiner of Madison, IN; his companion, Tracy Boetticher of Vevay, IN; his sons, Gage Anthony Jones and his fiancé, Zoe Martinez of Greendale, IN, Dalton Lockridge of Vevay, IN and Dyllan Boetticher of Florence, IN; his daughters, Kayla Mae Hayes of Greendale, IN and Laynie Lockridge of Vevay, IN; his step-son, Tristan Arthur of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Shelby Mae Owings and Xavier John Lockridge; his brother, Scott Franze of AZ; his sister, Tamara S. Voris of Madison, IN; his nephew, Ryan Voris of Madison, IN; his step-brothers, Jason Schreiner and his wife, Alyson of Greensburg, IN, Darrick Schreiner and his companion, Missy of Aurora, IN and Douglas Edward Jones of Vevay, IN and his step-mother, Mary Ann Jones of Vevay, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey S. "Coke" Jones; his step-son, Michael Damian Hite; his paternal grandparents, Harvey J. and Jacacqueline Caroline (Childers) Jones and his maternal grandparents, Henry and Louise (Robinson) Evans.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Mike Jones at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana, at a later date.
