Obituary for Denton William Bush

Mr. Denton William Bush, age 50, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 25, 1970 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of Harlan Denton "Denny" Bush, Jr. and Phyllis Ann (Buschmann) Bush. He was raised on Green Valley Road and was a 1988 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. Denton received his associates degree in automotive service technology from Indiana Vocational Technical College on August 20, 1990 in Madison, Indiana. Denton was united in marriage to LeeAnn Thomas on June 14, 1994 at the Ogle Park in Vevay, Indiana. This happy union was blessed with two daughters, Emily Ann and Kesley Lynn. He was a former mechanic for Jim Hadley Chevrolet in Madison, Indiana for 20 years. He was formerly employed for AutoZone in Madison, Indiana for one year and for Eden's Auto Repair and Towing in Carrollton, Kentucky for four years. Denton was named the 33rd top mechanic in the United States. He also received the Automotive Service Excellence Certification and the Gold Service Excellence Award through Chevrolet. Denton served as a volunteer firefighter for the Jeff-Craig Volunteer Fire Department for several years. He attended the Union Baptist Church in Lamb, Indiana. Denton enjoyed building RC planes and RC cars as well as collecting Dale Earnhardt memorabilia and watching the races. Denton passed away on Thursday February 11, 2021, at his residence in Vevay, Indiana.

Denton will be deeply missed by his daughters, Emily Ann Bush and Kelsey Lynn Bush of Vevay, IN; his grandson, Kylan Zane Bush of Vevay, IN; his mother, Phyllis Ann (Buschmann) Bush of Vevay, IN; his sister, Christy Morgan and her husband, Dan of Vevay, IN; his nieces, Danna Morgan and Sarah Morgan and her fiancé, Brandon Alexander; his great-nephew and great-niece, Mason and Bree; his special buddy, Braxton Jacye May of Vevay, IN and his numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harlan Denton "Denny" Bush, Jr., died July 6, 2007.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
