Obituary for Eugene Scudder
Mr. Eugene Scudder, age 68, of Bennington, Indiana, entered this life on August 31, 1951 in Bennington, Indiana. Eugene was the loving son of the late, Harold E. and Juanita P. (Swango) Scudder. He was raised in Bennington, Indiana and was a 1970 graduate of Switzerland County High School. Eugene was united in marriage on June 28, 1976, at the Ruter Chapel United Methodist Church in Vevay, Indiana, to Mary Lou Hazeldean. Eugene was employed for Morton's Feed Mill in Pleasant, Indiana for 12 years of service. He was later employed as an inspector for Aurora Casket Company, retiring in 2013, after 24 years of service. He was a member of Markland Baptist Church for several years. Eugene will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Eugene passed away at 2:47 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Eugene will be missed by his daughter, Kelli Brockman and her husband, Donald of Vevay, IN; his sons, Kevin Scudder and his wife, Jill of Van Wert, OH, Allen Scudder and his wife, Jennifer of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Baylie Scudder, Brady Scudder and his wife, Courtney, Bryant Scudder and Brianna Scudder; his great-grandson, Grady Scudder; his step-granddaughters, Liliana and Abby Dietrich; his sisters, Sharon Chandler of Madison, IN, Bonnie Browning and her husband, Dicky of Canaan, IN and Janice Lembach and her husband, Creighton of Elk Grove, CA; his brother, Bobby Scudder of Versailles, IN and his several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold E. Scudder, died July 28, 2004 and Juanita P. (Swango) Scudder, died March 27, 2015 and his brother-in-law, Roger A. Chandler, died May 1, 2017.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Casey Banta at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery, Bennington, Indiana.
