We at Indiana University join Eddie’s family in remembering and celebrating his life. Chancellor Cruz-Uribe has informed me that Eddie’s degree, B.S., Psychology, will be granted posthumously this month. We honor our colleague and grieve with his family.

Eddie was a classmate I had on two separate occasions at IU East this year. Eddie was a phenomenal person with great stories, so much happiness, and a passion for sports that I could relate to on so many levels. I and many others will surely miss Eddie. I was lucky to have met him, Heaven got a good one.

So very sorry for your loss, Eddie was my manager at my first job (subway) in high school, I’ll never forget his humor and joy he had for life.
