Mr. George Edward "Eddie" Ramsey, age 55, of Madison, Indiana, formerly of Center Square, Indiana, entered this life on January 28, 1964 in Anderson, Indiana. He was the son of the late George Dewey Ramsey, Jr. and Mary Carolyn (Marshall) Ramsey. He was raised in Center Square, Indiana and was a 1982 graduate of Switzerland County High School. Eddie graduated from Ivy Tech Community College in 2017 with an associate's degree in general studies. He was currently studying psychology at Indiana University East in Richmond, Indiana to obtain his bachelor's degree, which was to be completed in December 2019. Eddie was currently employed as a Direct Support Professional for ResCare in Madison, Indiana since May 2019. He was a former General Manager for Subway for the past four years. Eddie was a former cook for Key West Shrimp House, The Downtowner and The Red Pepper in Madison, Indiana for several years. He was a former CNA for Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana for several years and a former Restaurant Manager for Pilot Flying J for several years. Eddie enjoyed all sports, especially University of Kentucky Basketball, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. Eddie will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Eddie passed away at 3:30 a.m., Thursday, November 28, 2019, at his residence in Madison, Indiana.

Eddie will be missed by his sisters, Kim Fornash of Hanover, IN and Tanya Pike & her husband: Billy of Bennington, IN; his nieces, Krystal Baringhaus, Stacey Earl, Amanda Krall and Sydney Sefton; his nephews, Matt Earl, Will Pike, Eric Fornash and Aaron Fornash; his great-nieces, Cassidy, Lily, Shea, Ramsey, Bexlee and Angel and his great-nephews, Anthony, Draven, Jace, Maverick, Locklan and Caleb.

He was preceded in death by parents, George Dewey Ramsey, Jr. and Mary Carolyn (Marshall) Ramsey; his sister, Terri Wright; his nephew, Brett Lee Fornash; his paternal-grandparents, George Dewey Ramsey, Sr. and Mary B. (Covington) Ramsey and his maternal-grandparents, Lester C. Marshall, Sr. and Jessie J. (Sharp) Marshall.

A Celebration of Eddie's Life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
