Mr. Harold Raymond Levell, age 83, of Fairview, Indiana, entered this life on January 28, 1937 at home on Tapp's Ridge Road in Switzerland County, Indiana. He was the loving son of Cecil and Marie Katherine (Sigmon) Levell, both of whom preceded him in death. Harold was raised on Tapp's Ridge and attended school in Vevay, Indiana. At the young age of 16, Harold was employed for the former Lotus Warehouse and Quarker Warehouse and later it became Seagram's Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana where he retired after several years of service. Harold was united in marriage on September 1, 1962 in Lancaster, Indiana, to Vannie Lou Fredenburg. This happy union was blessed with a daughter, Brenda and a son, Mark. Harold and Vannie shared nearly 45 years of marriage together until she passed away on March 1, 2007. After retirement, Harold started farming with Bill Chipman. Harold was a member of Teamsters Local Union #142 where he was a team leader. In 2002, Harold became a member of Fairview Baptist Church where he was a deacon for several years. Harold enjoyed collecting dishes and woodworking in his younger years of life. He loved western shirts and Coca-Cola. Most of all, Harold loved his church and his church family. Harold passed away at 8:15 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Harold will be missed by his daughter, Brenda Lou Yocum of Rising Sun, IN; his son, Mark Levell and his wife, Jennifer of Lynchburg, TN; his grandchildren, Cassandra Parker and David "DJ" Yocum, Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Trevor Parker, Abby Parker and Riley Parker; his brother, Bill Levell and his wife, Sharon of Rising Sun, IN; his sisters, Linda K. Levell and her companion, Gary Turner of Rising Sun, IN and Sharon Wainscott and her husband, Bill of Dry Ridge, KY; his sister-in-law, Helen Lucille Levell of Vevay, IN; his brother-in-law, Dennis Gilland of Milan, IN and his several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Levell, died February 18, 1994 and Marie Katherine (Sigmon) Levell, died March 24, 2004; his wife, Vannie Lou (Fredenburg) Levell, died March 1, 2007; his brother, Paul David Levell, Sr., died July 19, 2006 and his sister, Kathy L. Gilland, died September 11, 1987.

Interment will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Aberdeen, Indiana.
