Mrs. Jennifer Marie "Jenny" (Hanson) Lewis, age 48, of Patriot, Indiana, entered this life on April 5, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a 1989 graduate of Milan High School in Milan, Indiana. She was actively involved in Business Professionals of America and was honored to be named to Who's Who of America program in high school. At the young age of 16, Jenny met the love of her life, Dennis Rolland Lewis. They were united in marriage on April 9, 1994, in Carrollton, Kentucky and shared 30 years together until her death. Jenny resided since the age of 18 in the Patriot, Indiana community and was a wonderful homemaker. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music and spending time with her grandchildren, her dog and her cat. Jenny passed away at 12:20 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019, at her residence.

Jenny will be deeply missed by her husband, Dennis Rolland Lewis of Patriot, IN; her sons, Christopher Parker Lewis and his wife, Andrea of Moorefield, IN and Jacob Allen Lewis and his wife, Emily of Rising Sun, IN; her grandchildren, Hunter, Leah, and Landon; her mother-in-law, Phyllis E. (Smith) Lewis of Vevay, IN; her sister-in-law, Deena Knight and her husband, Michael of Vevay, IN; her brothers-in-law, Bubby Lewis and his companion, Michelle Springer of Vevay, IN, Bobby Lewis and his wife, Bonnie of Lawrenceburg, IN and Rick Lewis and his wife, Kara of Taylorsville, KY and her several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Claudell "Bud" Lewis, died March 24, 2014 and her sister-in-law, Tracy Lynne Lewis.

Private family and close friends services will be held.

Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery, Patriot, Indiana.
