Mr. Jerry R. Wickey, age 61, of Canaan, Indiana, entered this life on June 18, 1958 in Berne, Indiana. He was the son of Jacob J. and Rosina R. "Rosie" (Schwartz) Wickey. He was raised in Berne, Indiana and had resided in the Pleasant, Bennington and Canaan communities since 1988. Jerry received his education and was of the Old Order Amish faith. He was lovingly cared for by his family until his death. Jerry passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Rosina R. "Rosie" (Schwartz) Wickey of Bennington, IN; his brothers, Reuben Wickey and his wife, Emma of Bennington, IN, Andy Wickey and his wife, Ruth of Canaan, IN, Jacob Wickey and his wife, Katie of Owingsville, KY, Amos Wickey of Bennington, IN, Harvey Wickey and his wife, Esther of Cross Plains, IN, Eli Wickey and his wife, Clara of Cross Plains, IN, Rudy Wickey and his wife, Emma of Canaan, IN and Simon Wickey and his wife, Rachel of Bennington, IN; his sister, Mattie Wickey of Bennington, IN and his numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob J. Wickey; his sisters, Emma Wickey, Mary J. Wickey, Ruth Schwartz and Elizabeth J. "Lizzie" Wickey; his nephews, Ben K. Wickey and Amos Schwartz; his niece, Rebecca Schwartz and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 and Saturday, June 13, 2020, at the Rudy Wickey Residence, 15222 State Road 129, Canaan, Indiana 47224.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., at the Rudy Wickey Residence, 15222 State Road 129, Canaan, Indiana 47224.

Interment will follow in the Old Order Amish Cemetery, Pleasant, Indiana.
