Mr. John David Cox, age 67, of Indianapolis, Indiana, entered this life on December 5, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late, John M. and Mary Ruth (Reed) Cox. He resided in the Indianapolis community all of his life. John was formally employed as an accountant at Financial Center Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis, Indiana. John will be missed by his family and friends. John passed away at 2:35 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019, at the Castleton Health Care Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

John is survived by his sister, Margie Cox Westwater of Shelbyville, IN; his uncle, Clarence Blodgett of Bennington, IN; his nephew, Donald Blodgett of Bennington, IN; his friends, Robert Imel and his wife: Sandra of Pendleton, IN and Dennis Brandle of Pendleton, IN.

He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Cox, died July 4, 2001; his mother, Mary Ruth (Reed) Cox, died June 30, 2015 and his brother, Jack Louis Cox, died August 19, 2007.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., by Pastor Bill Madison at the Slawson Cemetery, Bennington Pike in Bennington, Indiana.
