Life Story for Larry William Fair
Mr. Larry William Fair, age 66, of Lapeer, Michigan, formerly of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on May 29, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. He was the son of the late, Betty Jo (Bennett) Lauderbaugh. Larry was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana and was a 1970 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. Larry was currently employed as the Vice President and General Manager of Anand NVH North America in Imlay City, Michigan, since September 2017. Larry will be remembered for his love of vintage cars, collecting memorabilia and was a huge Purdue fan. Larry passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, at his residence in Lapeer, Michigan.
Larry will be deeply missed by his daughter, Jana K. Houston (Bart Taylor) of Jeffersonville, IN; his grandchildren, Lynk Ryan and Bailey Jo Houston of Jeffersonville, IN; his grandmother, Stella (Romans) Bennett of Vevay, IN; his sister, Nila Jean Robinson and her husband, Fritz of Daleville, IN; his niece, Katie Jo Robinson of Daleville, IN; his aunts and uncles, Gordon and Nancy Bennett of Rising Sun, IN, Janet "Peachy" and Robert Kent of Indianapolis, IN and Donna Bennett of East Enterprise, IN and his numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo (Bennett) Lauderbaugh, died August 23, 1994; his grandfather, Stanley L. Bennett, died October 5, 1997 and his uncle, Wayne Bennett, died October 16, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Wayne Daugherty at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
