Ms. Linda D. "Winnie" (Peelman) Wilson, age 69, of East Enterprise, Indiana, entered this life on November 12, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. She was the daughter of Amie J. Peelman, Jr. and Mary Jo (Shadday) Brown. Winnie was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana and was a graduate of the Switzerland County High School, class of 1970. She made the dean's list and was a 1982 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus, Indiana. She was a former licensed practical nurse at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, retiring in 2020 after 38 years of service. She also worked weekends for Pine Knoll Assisted Living Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Winnie resided in the East Enterprise community the past several years. She attended the Switzerland Baptist Church in Vevay, Indiana. Winnie loved traveling with her family and friends, antiquing, flowers, gardening and shopping. She also enjoyed collecting snowbabies over the past several years. Winnie passed away at 7:39 p.m., Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky.

Winnie will be deeply missed by her daughters, April Janelle Mahoney and her husband, Brian of Lamb, IN and Stacey Lynn Penick and her husband, Trevis of Bennington, IN; her grandchildren, Meagan Kilborn and her husband, Zack, Brad Wilson and his wife, Maeghan, Colton Penick, Stephanie Mahoney and Keith Mahoney; her great-grandchildren, Masen and Zaiden Kilborn, Zoe Wilson and Braedon, Braelon and Addison King; her mother, Mary Jo (Shadday) Brown of Vevay, IN; her father and step-mother, Amie and Mary Gladys Peelman of Freeburg, IL; her sisters, Peggy Johnson and her husband, Lowell of Greenwood, IN and Andrea "Andi" Hallett and her husband, Collin of Indianapolis, IN; her special friend, Kevin Whitham of East Enterprise, IN and her nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Nelson W. Brown and her grandparents, Julian and Jeanette (Konkle) Shadday and Amie and Mary Etta (Hussong) Peelman.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2022 and from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2022, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
