Obituary for Mary Margaret Tice (Moore)

Mrs. Mary Margaret (Moore) Tice, age 70, of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on October 3, 1951 in Batesville, Indiana. She was raised in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and was a daughter of the late, Olin Kenneth and Violet Ellen (Westfall) Moore. Mary was united in marriage on February 17, 1968 in Rising Sun, Indiana to Ronald Tice. This union was blessed with two daughters, Violet and Betty. Mary and Ronald shared over 32 years of marriage together until he passed away on April 19, 2000. Mary was employed as a dishwasher for Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana for six years. She was also employed for Kopps Turkey Farm in Harrison, Ohio for 15 years. She loved going shopping, Christmas and spending time with her family. Mary also enjoyed collecting ducks, clothes and jewelry. Mary passed away with her loving family by her side at 7:21 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mary will be missed by her daughters, Violet Davidson and her husband, Bill of Patriot, IN and Betty Funk of Cleves, OH; her 9-grandchildren, Debra, Steven, Betty Jo, John, Danielle, June, Josey, Charlie and Ronald; her 14-great-grandchildren and her sister, Lucille Mae Woodruff and her husband, George of Markland, IN and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin Kenneth and Violet Ellen (Westfall) Moore; her husband, Ronald Tice; her son, Ronald Harold "Ronnie" Tice, Jr.; her grandson, William Funk; her great-granddaughter, Isabella "Bella" Funk and her brothers, Thomas J. Moore, Charles Kenneth Moore and Marshall Lee Moore.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
