Obituary for Pamela Ann "Pam" Minch (Dawson)
Mrs. Pamela Ann "Pam" (Dawson) Minch, age 67, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on March 5, 1954 in Newport, Arkansas. She was raised in Fortville, Indiana and was a 1971 graduate of the Mt. Vernon High School. Pam was united in marriage to Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Minch on July 24, 1971 in Hancock County, Indiana. This union was blessed with a son, Dale and a daughter, Stacey. Pam and Ronnie shared over 38 years of marriage together until he passed away on September 9, 2009. Pam formerly owned and operated a flower shop in Fortville, Indiana, from 1987-1997. She also was a former florist for Edelweiss Floral in Vevay, Indiana. Pam was employed in housekeeping for Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay, Indiana for three years. Pam resided in the Fortville, Indiana and McCordsville, Indiana communities for 35 years before moving to the Vevay, Indiana community in 2002. Pam was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Fortville, Indiana, Vevay VFW Post #5396 Ladies Auxiliary and the Vevay American Legion Post #185 Ladies Auxiliary. Pam enjoyed arts and crafts, but most of all she loved gardening and her flowers. Pam passed away at 6:30 a.m., Sunday, September 5, 2021, at her residence in Vevay, Indiana.
Pam will be deeply missed by her son, Dale Minch of Vevay, IN; her daughter, Stacey Mathews and her husband, Jack of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Allie Mathews, MaKenzie Mathews, Brooke Minch and Bailey Minch; her brothers, Dean Roberts and his wife, Corinne of Greenfield, IN, Walter Lee Dawson and his wife, Debbie of Fortville, IN, Melvin Lynn Dawson and his wife, Patty of New Berlin, WI and Herbert Dawson and his wife, Dorothy of Dupont, IN; her sister, Lynda Carolyn (Dawson) McKenzie of Vevay, IN; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandy Dawson of Vevay, IN, Charles and Carol Minch of Fortville, IN and William Joseph "Bill" and Christine Minch of Pleasant, IN and her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and abundance of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Melvin Dawson, died July 3, 2001 and Zilpha Mae (Reeves) Dawson, died July 27, 2002; her husband, Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Minch, died September 9, 2009; her brothers, Lewis Roberts, Jr., Dwight Dawson and Clyde "Wayne" Dawson and her sister, Sue Bowens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Madison, Indiana.
