Obituary for Paul Douglas McDole

Mr. Paul Douglas McDole, age 68, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on April 30, 1953 in Aurora, Indiana. He was raised in Aurora, Indiana where he graduated high school. Paul was united in marriage to Beverly Kay Mathews on February 29, 1992 in Carrollton, Kentucky. This happy union was blessed with a son, Andrew. Paul was employed for Stedman Foundry in Aurora, Indiana and General Electric if Ohio for several years. He was also employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana until closing. He was later employed as a trainer for Levi Strauss Company in Hebron, Kentucky, retiring on November 8, 2019 after 20 years of service. Paul was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #2022 of Aurora, Indiana. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers, NASCAR, grilling out in the Summer and playing video games. Paul passed away at 6:13 a.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021, in Vevay, Indiana.

Paul will be missed by his son, Andrew McDole of Vevay, IN; his caretaker, Beverly Kay (Mathews) McDole of Vevay, IN; his step-children, Casey Mathews and Michael Meisberger; his grandchildren, Jaden, Ethan, Andrea and Kensly; his brother, Robert "Bobby" McDole of Vevay, IN; his sister, Debbie Bamberger of Sunman, IN; his nephews and niece, Doug, Paul, Dave and Holly; his aunt, Mable Carver of Rising Sun, IN and his uncle and best friend, Donnie Hankins of Bennington, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Douglas and Emma Lee McDole; his sister, Linda Lou McDole; his brother, David Luther McDole and his sister-in-law, Linda Joyce (Hash) McDole.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021, by Rev. Mike Jones at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
