Obituary for Paul David Taulbee

Mr. Paul David Taulbee, age 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, entered this life on February 28, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of the late, Woodrow and Annie (Hall) Taulbee. He was raised in Germany, Japan, Monterey and Seaside, California. Paul was united in marriage on May 24, 1997, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Judy Carol Ritch. Paul and Judy shared 22 years of marriage together until his death. Paul was a self-employed gunsmith and owned and operated his gun shop at the Bluegrass Range in Louisville, Kentucky. Paul retired as a mechanic after 30 years of service. He was also employed as an electrician for a school district for several years. Paul served on the Monterey Police Department for a few years. Paul was a faithful member of HeartSong Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Paul enjoyed collecting guns and swords and welding. Paul passed away at 7:50 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2019, at the Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Paul will be missed by his loving wife of 22 years, Judy Carol (Ritch) Taulbee of Louisville, Kentucky; his daughters, Debra Taulbee of Tennessee and Gail Nevitt of Louisville, Kentucky; his several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Annie (Hall) Taulbee; his sister, Linda Mae Pollard and his brother, Boyd Taulbee.

A Celebration of Paul's life will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019, at 3:30 p.m., by Drew Hayes, Mike Sawalich and Jim Butler, at the Fern Creek Community Center, 6104 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40291.
