Life Story for Ronald Dale "Ron" Ollman

Mr. Ronald Dale “Ron” Ollman, age 70, of Sunman, Indiana, entered this life on March 2, 1948, in Milan, Indiana. He was the son of the late, Curtis and Francis (Goodpaster) Ollman. He was raised in Aurora, Indiana where he attended school. Ron was inducted into the United States Army on November 1, 1966, serving during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on August 13, 1975. Ron was united in marriage on September 9, 1968, to the late, Sharon Rae Cochran and they shared 44 years of marriage together. Ron was employed as a security guard in 1999 for Grand Victoria in Rising Sun, Indiana. Ron will be remembered for his love of building, collecting tools and building computers.

Ron is survived by his daughters, Terri Harris of Aurora, Indiana, Penny Lane Anderson and her husband, Brent of Des Moines, Iowa and Kelly J. Oberting and her husband, Matthew of Moores Hill, Indiana; his sons, Richard D. Ollman and his wife, Lynette of Hebron, Kentucky and Brian D. Ollman of Winchester, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Caitlin Harris, Melanie Harris, Lydia Anderson, Zachary Anderson, Robert Ante III, Lilie Ante, Silas Oberting, Alexis Oberting and Lucas Oberting; his sister, Gloria Cole and her husband, Ralph of Rising Sun, Indiana and his several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Francis (Goodpaster) Ollman; his brothers, Curtis, Darrel and Gary Ollman and his sisters, Francis McDave and Roberta Ollman.

Ron donated his body to medical science for the greater good of humanity.
