Sarah Ann (Peelman) Keith, age 89, of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on August 15, 1933 in Switzerland County, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late, Floyd Allen "Jack" and Thelma Dallas (Romans) Peelman. Sarah was raised in Switzerland County and grew up helping on the family farm. She was a 1950 graduate of Patriot High School and played softball in her teenage years. Sarah was united in marriage on October 10, 1952 to Melvin Walker Myers in Vevay, Indiana. This happy union was blessed with two children, Stephen and Nancy. Sarah was later united in marriage on November 17, 1956 to Hilbert Wayne Keith at the Switzerland Baptist Church in Vevay, Indiana. This happy union was blessed with three children, Dale, Michelle and Joanne. Sarah was employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana, retiring in 1995, after 46 years of service. She was a former school bus driver for the Switzerland County School Corporation for 18 years. She also worked as a clerk for Tolbert's Petroleum in Vevay, Indiana for five years. Sarah was a former member of the Switzerland County Homemaker's Club and served on the committee of the Patriot High School alumni. Sarah attended the New Liberty Baptist Church in East Enterprise, Indiana. In her spare time, Sarah sold Avon for several years and enjoyed traveling, crocheting, bowling, cooking and shopping, as well as, watching game shows and soap operas. Sarah passed away with her loving family by her side at 7:51 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Ripley Crossing in Milan, Indiana.

Sarah will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and son, Nancy Scott and her husband, Rick of Rising Sun, IN, Dale Keith and his wife, Kathy of Rising Sun, IN, Michelle Self and her husband, Wyatt of Moorefield, IN and Joanne Springer and her husband, Joe of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Travis (Tina) Myers, Lorie (Matt) Erne, Kevin Thies, Jason (Kristal) Scott, Jody (Marty) Pitts, Chad Scott, Jeff (Alisha) Thornton, Erin (Dustin) Lamkin, Candice (Eddie) Aguilar, Kimberly (Nicholas) Barkman, Kyle (Shauna) Self, Alex (Lauren) Curran, Ben Curran, Natalie Sullivan, Kelsey (Matt McConnell) Springer and Kayla Springer; her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jake, Sydney, Carson, Bayley, Kendal, Trey, Adison, Michael, Lindsey, Jordan, Saylor, Lance, Laurin, Camrynn, Courtney, Samuel, Kayne, Gracie, Miranda and Brantley; her great-great-grandson, Jack and her several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Allen "Jack" Peelman, died May 5, 1993 and Thelma Dallas (Romans) Peelman, died February 1, 1970; her 1st husband, Melvin Walker Myers, died May 20, 2011; her 2nd husband, Hilbert Wayne Keith, died December 15, 2019; her son, Stephen Allen Myers, died June 18, 2015; her great-grandson, Trent Allen Myers, died October 26, 2014; her step-mother, Aldean C. (Vanosdol) Ricketts Peelman, died October 14, 1986; her brother, Robert Lester "Bobby" Bond, died December 11, 1996; her sister, Mary Jo (Peelman) Cook, died March 10, 2014; her brother-in-law, Donald Wayne Cook, died January 17, 2014; her sister-in-law, Gladys L. (Bolden) Bond, died December 23, 2012 and her niece, Debby G. (Bond) Hunter, died February 13, 2015.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022, by Pastor Pat Lanman, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana.
