Schaene "Sue Ann" (Bromwell) Essex, age 64, of Dillsboro, Indiana, entered this life on November 29, 1955 in Madison, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Bradley Bromwell and Mildred L. "Minnie" (Smith) Ackerman-Bromwell. She was raised in Richmond, Indiana and graduated high school. She was employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana for a few months. Sue Ann enjoyed spending time with her dogs and cats. Sue Ann passed away at 2:58 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, from injuries she sustained from an automobile accident in Dillsboro, Indiana.

Sue Ann is survived by her half-sisters, Cathy Susan (Ackerman) Hart of Vevay, IN and Ann Bromwell and her companion, Floyd Hubbard of Columbus, IN; her step-brother, Patrick Collier and his wife, Phyllis of Vevay, IN and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bradley Bromwell, died June 19, 2015; her mother, Mildred L. "Minnie" (Smith) Ackerman-Bromwell, died February 16, 1968; her step-mother, Gretta Lee (Pratt) Bromwell, died January 7, 2013; her half-brother, John "Terry" Ackerman, died October 13, 1993 and her step-sister, Lee Ann Moore, died May 18, 2009.

Private family graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2020 in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
