Mr. Shawn Patrick Brabant, Sr., age 44, of near Moorefield, Indiana, entered this life on February 2, 1974, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the loving son of, Kenneth Russell and Linda Lee (Lapp) Stotridge. He was raised in Harrison, Ohio where he was a 1992 graduate of the William Henry Harrison High School. Shawn was inducted into the United States Air Force on September 4, 1992, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He received the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon and the Air Force Training Ribbon. He served in support of Operation Desert Storm and was honorably discharged on December 28, 1994 at Wright-Patterson Air Fore Base in Ohio. Shawn was united in marriage on May 26, 2013, in Madeira Beach, Florida, to Kasey Ann Drockelman. Shawn was employed in the tool and dye department for Cincinnati Incorporated for eight years. Shawn worked alongside his father, Kenneth for Russell Footings in Aurora, Indiana, for several years. He was also employed for Cincinnati Chimney & Masonry for several years and was also a lumberjack. He was a member of the Rebels Motorcycle Club and theYeager-Benson Memorial American Legion Post #199 of Harrison, Ohio. He was also a member of the Church of God in Harrison, Ohio. Shawn was a handyman and enjoyed hunting, riding and tinkering with motorcycles and cars. He also enjoyed model cars, and collecting antiques especially tools, oil lamps and signs. Shawn will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Shawn passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at his residence.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Kasey Ann (Drockelman) Brabant of near Moorefield, IN; his daughters, Madison Harley Brabant and Winter Lee Brabant of near Moorefield, IN; his son, Shawn Patrick Brabant, Jr. of Mason, OH; his mother and step-father, Linda Lee (Lapp) and Clyde Stotridge of near Moorefield, IN; his father and step-mother, Kenneth and Beth "Missy" Russell of Aurora, IN; his sisters, Mary Volz of Moores Hill, IN and Chanda Russell of Aurora, IN; his brothers, Kenny "Snoop" Brabant and his companion, Carrie of Brookville, IN, Christopher Russell of Aurora, IN and William Brabant of Howell, MI; his step-brother, Jay Johnson and his wife, April of Dillsboro, IN and his several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Brabant, died in 1995.

Funeral services and full military rites will be conducted Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., by Rev. Mike Jones at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.
