Obituary for Theresa "Kay" Marlman (Earls)
Mrs. Theresa "Kay" (Earls) Marlman, age 67, of Bennington, Indiana, entered this life on January 25, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Charles A. and Erma R. (Dilts) Earls. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana and was a 1970 graduate of Switzerland County High School. Kay was united in marriage on June 19, 1970 in Switzerland County, Indiana, to Barry Wayne Marlman. This happy union was blessed with two daughters, Angela and Jenny. Kay and Barry shared nearly 47 years of marriage together until he passed away on March 24, 2017. Kay was employed as a dealer and floor supervisor for Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana for 13 years. She was a member of the Vevay American Legion Post #185 Ladies Auxiliary. Kay attended the Bennington United Methodist Church in Bennington, Indiana and was a lifelong resident of the Switzerland County community. Kay enjoyed gardening, doing her nails, gambling and her dogs. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching Matthew dirt track race. Kay passed away at 5:45 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2020, at her residence.
Kay will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Angela Craddock and her husband, Shawn of Ghent, KY and Jenny Hankins and her husband, John of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Craddock and Maci and Miranda Hankins; her sisters, Connie Knotts of Madison, IN and Sharrie Earls of Madison, IN; her brother, Walter "Bubby" Earls and his wife, Joyce of Aberdeen, IN and her several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. Earls, died January 9, 1998 and Erma R. (Dilts) Earls, died April 18, 2000; her husband, Barry Wayne Marlman, died March 24, 2017 and her sister, Charlene A. Earls, died December 22, 1949.

Vevay American Legion Post #185 Ladies Auxiliary will conduct services at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2020, by Rev. Mike Jones, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
