Mr. Wilbur "Dale" Poling, age 59, of near Quercus Grove, Indiana, entered this life on April 2, 1960, in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of, Wilbur E. "Webb" and Linda L. (Green) Poling. He was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana where he was a 1978 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. In 1979, Dale was employed in maintenance for the Indiana Department of Transportation for the Aberdeen Unit, retiring in 2016, after 37 years of service. Dale enjoyed playing softball, rabbit hunting, basketball especially IU and spending time with his loving family. Dale passed away on Monday November 11, 2019, at the Highpoint Health in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Wilbur will be missed by his loving mother, Linda L. (Green) Poling of near Quercus Grove, IN; his brothers, Michael R. Poling and his wife, Carol of near Quercus Grove, IN and Steven G. Poling of Patriot, IN; his nieces, Shaina Watson and her husband, Jake of Rising Sun, IN and Shelby Lucas and her husband, Andy of Rising Sun, IN; his great-nieces and great-nephew, Kali Watson, Kyndal Watson, Kadence Watson, Adeleigh Lucas and Case Lucas and his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur E. "Webb" Poling, died February 6, 2002.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., by Rev. Mike Jones at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
