Mrs. Patricia Evelyn "Pat" (Thompson) Shelton, age 83, of Vevay, Indiana, entered this life on December 11, 1929, in Clark County, Missouri, the loving daughter of the late, Arnold L. Thompson & Theresa T. (Wussler) Thompson Henderson. Pat was raised in Wayland, Missouri, where she attended school. Pat was united in marriage on June 5, 1947, in Troy, Kansas, to Donald C. Shelton. Pat & Donald shared 66 loving years of marriage together until her death. Pat & Donald resided the past 21 years in Switzerland County, Indiana. She was a wonderful homemaker & enjoyed raising her family. Pat will be remembered for her love of fishing, crocheting & enjoying flowers. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & sister. Patricia died at 10:33 am, Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at her residence in Vevay, Indiana.

Patricia will be missed by her loving husband of 66 years: Donald C. Shelton of Vevay, IN; her daughters: Theresa McAdams of Aurora, IN; Nancy Donegan of Vevay, IN; Tina Gutapfel & her husband: Dan of Sunman, IN; Susan Shelton of Madison, IN; Laura Tice & her husband: John of Vevay, IN; her sons: Kenneth E. Shelton of Vevay, IN; Paul W. Shelton & his wife: Chris of Alvin, TX; Marvin D. Shelton & his wife: Hyong Sun of Fort Hood, TX; her 26-grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren; her sister: Eleanora Hudson of Carthage, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Arnold L. Thompson & Theresa T. (Wussler) Thompson-Henderson; her daughters: Louise Covington & Mary Ann Kuntz; her infant-daughter: Linda Mae Shelton; her son: Donald "Rick" Shelton; her infant-son: Tracy Shelton; her grandson: Robert Ross Richards; her great-grandson: Cayden Foster; her infant-sisters: Arnolda Thompson & Mary Ann Thompson.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 10, 2013, at 11:00 am, by Rev. Ron Lee, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 10:00 am, at the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, Missouri
