Mrs. Barbara Ann (Henrich) Richards, age 62, of Rising Sun, Indiana, entered this life on January 2, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Norbert Jacob and Dolores Marie (Franklin) Henrich. Barbara was raised in Cincinnati until the age of 17 & had resided in Switzerland County most all of her life. She was united in marriage on November 11, 1995, to Ernest "Ernie" O. Richards, Sr., in Glencoe, Kentucky. He passed away on December 16, 2006. Barbara was a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Qualified Medication Aide. She was a former employee of the Shady Nook Care Center, The Waters of Rising Sun & The Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center totaling 20 years of service. Barbara enjoyed reading, fishing, and crocheting. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, for her children, her grandchildren & her family. Barbara died at 9:40 am Thursday October 29, 2015, at her residence in Rising Sun, Indiana, surrounded by her loving daughters.

Barbara will be missed by her daughters, Paula Lowell & her husband: Chris of Greenfield, IN; Amy Logsdon & her husband: Chris of Moorefield, IN; Karen Cash & her husband: Aaron of Pensacola, FL; Amanda Brookbank & her companion: Mike Yocum of Rising Sun, IN; Laura Walston & her husband: Shane of Rising Sun, IN; her grandchildren: Ben, Vada, Cole, Elise, Madelyn, Jalen, Hunter, Nathaniel, Tobias & Wyatt; her brother: Norbert Henrich, Jr of Harrison, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest "Ernie" O Richards, Sr.; her parents: Norbert Jacob & Dolores Marie (Franklin) Henrich.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 2, 2015, at 1:00 pm, by Bro. Anthony Wilks, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Cedar Hedge Cemetery, Rising Sun, Indiana.
